Situated in the centre of the picturesque and historic Limousin town of Le Dorat, this eighteenth century town house has now been home to us, Patrick and Matilda Howell and our family, since moving to France in 2004. Whether you are coming here to enjoy a holiday in the Limousin, looking for a house to buy or just passing through, our bed and breakfast accommodation will provide you with all the home comforts you may need. Our three rooms are all fully en-suite — comfortable double beds (English ones!) — tea & coffee making facilities (with fresh milk!) — complimentary wine and cold drinks in a mini-fridge — free Wi-Fi internet access for your laptop — and more. We are always happy to have children of any age and will provide an extra bed or cot in your room, at no charge.

The medieval town of Le Dorat is in the Limousin region's Haute-Vienne 'Départment' about mid-way between Limoges to the south (30 miles) and Poitiers to the north. Also, we are only about 12 miles from the main A20 north-south motorway, making our B&B an ideal stopover if you are heading further south (single night stays welcome).
